CV: Thomas Ilka studied economics at the University of Kiel, graduating in 1992. He has been a Member of Executive Board, German Insurance Association (GDV) since 2014. Prior to assuming his possition at GDV he worked as a State Secretary to the Federal Minister of Health. Mr. Ilka had worked at German Chambers of Industry and Commerce (DIHK) from 1999 till 2011 on various positions, including Director of the DIHK Representation to the European Union and Head of the Department for Europe, the Environment, Energy and Consumer Policy. |

CV: Dr Ulrich Staab is a lawyer and has worked in the insurance industry since 1991. He is Head of Property &Casualty Claims and responsible for all Property and Casualty Claims within R+V Insurance Group, the second largest P&C insurer in Germany, which is part of the financial group of the co-operative banks in Germany. Additionally Dr Staab is member of different Motor Claims committees of the German Insurance Association and works as a publisher and author of law books relating to the handling of motor claims. He is 54 years old. |

CV: Andrej Kocič is heading both ERGO entities in Slovenia: ERGO life company and branch of ERGO Austria. He has been almost all his professional life active in insurance industry. During the period 1997 - 2009 he has been employed at the Triglav Insurance Company, in the period 2005 - 2009 at the position of CEO. He graduated at the Universtity of Ljubljana, Faculty of Economics. He continued his education and obtained M.B.A from Drury College, USA and M. Sc. from the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Economics. Very beneficial to his education was the experience as the exchange student at Indiana University, USA (1993) and at the Munich Re's Alois Alzheimer Scholarship programme (1998-1999). |

TOPIC: Distribution channels and impact of legal changes stemming from EU regulation, especially bancassurance CV: Dirk Czaya studied law and history in Munich and Lausanne. After working for several years as a lawyer, he joined the insurance industry in 1991. He specializes in sales and business law and has extensive experience in marketing practice. For many years he was responsible for sales support and marketing in various insurance companies. Since 2005 he has been active as Swiss Life`s head of Distribution Support. As a member of the East European Committee of the GDV, he worked on the “Study Book for the Insurance Industry”. He is a member of various committees and associations of the insurance industry. Since 2013 he is responsible inter alia for topics like "Business Development" and "Business Networking”. |

TOPIC: Distribution channels and impact of legal changes stemming from EU regulation, especially bancassurance
CV: Gueorgui Tzvetanov-Meyer is Senior Bancassurance Manager at ERGO International, in Vienna. Gueorgui has extensive experience in business development, institutional sales and bancassurance. He has been working for more than fourteen years in the insurance industry in Central and Eastern Europe. Gueorgui is originally from Bulgarian, started his career in Vienna and he is fluent in four languages. In his international career he has gained experience in several markets and has developed deep understanding of cultural differences across Central and Eastern Europe. He holds a Master Degree in Business Economics and Management from the University of Economics and Business Administration Vienna. |
