Zlatan Filipović,
CEO, Bosna Re, Sarajevo


CV: Zlatan Filipović graduated from the Faculty of Law at Sarajevo University. He has worked in reinsurance business most of his 26-year-long career. He has been with Bosna RE from 1987 where he started at the position of Reinsurance Assistant, then Reinsurance Director and Reinsurance Executive Director and finally in October 2014 he was appointed Bosna RE CEO. He is a guest lecturer for the topics related to insurance business at the Faculty of Economics in Sarajevo. He is the author of numerous expert articles on insurance and reinsurance practice published in East European Insurance Report, London, World Insurance Report, London, Euromoney International Reinsurance Review, London, Svijet osiguranja, Zagreb etc.


Duško Jovanović,
Secretary General, Association of Serbian Insurers, Belgrade


CV: Duško Jovanović is Secretary General of the Association of Serbian Insurers. He graduated from the Faculty of Economics with major in Economic Policy and Planning in 1980. His career path started in 1983 at the National Bank of Serbia − the Institute for Manufacturing Banknotes and Coins (NBS ZIN) where he first worked as an investment officer. In 1989, he was appointed Financial Manager of NBS ZIN. In 1995 he was appointed Deputy General Manager of NBS ZIN (managing position with special authorizations and responsibility) by the then Governor, Dragoslav Avramović. In 2000, he was appointed CEO of NBS ZIN. In 2003, he became General Manager of Polis JSC Insurance Organization, Belgrade. In 2008, Mr. Jovanović assumed the position of the President of the Board of Directors in Sava osiguranje from Belgrade. Since 2012, he has been General Manager of Sava osiguranje. He is Secretary General of the Association of Serbian Insurers since October 2015.


Emina Jahić,
Director of the Insurance Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina


CV: Emina Jahić, Director of Insurance Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, graduated from the University "Džemal Bijedić" in Mostar in 1985. In her thirty-year career she gained working experience in manufacturing companies, municipal administration, the Civil Service Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Between March 2008 and September 2017, she served as secretary of the Joint Commission for Human Rights of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina. She was appointed as Director of the Insurance Agency in Bosnia and Herzegovina on 30 August 2017.
 


Maja Krumberger,
Director, Slovenian Insurance Association, Ljubljana


CV: Maja Krumberger has been director of Slovenian Insurance Association since June 2015. She has 20 years of experience in the insurance sector. She started her professional career in 1995 as a Portfolio Manager in one of nowadays biggest Slovenian insurance groups and later held different non-executive and executive positions within the same group in Slovenia and other countries of Western Balkan region. She joined Slovenian Insurance Association as a Deputy Director in 2012. She was also Slovenian alternate member at the European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority. She has a Master’s Degree in insurance from University of Ljubljana.


Stefano Romagnoli,
Unipol Group


CV: Degree in Computer Science and Master in Business Administration. After different experence in financial services company, Stefano joined the Unipol Group in 2009. From the beginning, he took part in and led transformation projects in different insurance business areas (Underwriting, Claim, Marketing, Administration).
From 2014 to 2016 he was a Head of IT Innovation Lab with the scope to drive the Technological Innovation of the Unipol group, in close contact with all the business areas.
Stefano participated from the beginning in the project AlfaEvolution Technology, a company with scope to manage IOT and Big Data for Unipol Group and from 2016 he took on the current role of CIO of AlfaEvolution Technology and head of Telematic Applications at UnipolSai.


Maria Horalikova,
Aon Reinsurance Solutions


CV: Maria Horalikova has graduated from St Petersburg State University in Russia as an economist-mathematician in 2003. She has been working as an actuary for the insurance company “Russky mir” in Russia. In 2005 she obtained an MBA degree in International Management from Pforzheim business school in Germany. Since 2005 Maria has been working as a reinsurance broker for Aon’s Reinsurance Solutions in Prague, Czech Republic. Since 2013 she has been member of Aon’s Re management in Central and Eastern Europe, heading the company’s business on the markets of Russia and Western Balkan.


Armin Hadžić,
Aon Reinsurance Solutions


CV: After completing the International School of Prague, Armin Hadžić pursued an undergraduate degree from Aston University (UK) in International Business Management. He later continued his studies with a two-year MSc programme delivered by EMLyon Business School and Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, focusing on Organization, Change & Strategy. Prior to joining Aon’s Reinsurance Solutions CEE team in 2016, Armin gained professional experience at Microsoft, and subsequently took part in a Deloitte Digital’s (Germany) project on exponential technologies. At Aon’s Reinsurance Solutions, Armin is currently working as a Treaty Broker for the Western Balkans region.


Vlado Šarenac,
Director – Technology Leader, PwC South East Europe


CV: Vlado Šarenac is Director of Technology (IT) consulting in PwC SEE and has over 15 years of industry and consulting experience in Financial services and Technology sector.  He has also worked for one of largest global business application companies and has held leading roles in regional mulitnational banks. Engagements Vlado was involved in are mainly dealing with innovative business models, transormations and efficiency increase (cost and revenue) supported by technology and innovation. Vlado Šarenac graduated from Queensland University and holds a Master of Science degree in Financial management from University of Maribor u Sloveniji. Currently he is Doctoral candidate in Business informatics at University of Maribor, Slovenia.


Marijan Ćurković,
Professor, Faculty of Law, Zagreb


CV: Marijan Ćurković graduated from the Faculty of Law in 1966. He obtained his Master’s degree in 1979 and PhD in 1984. He has been working in the insurance industry since 1967 (Osiguravajući zavod Beograd, Croatia osiguranje, Euroherc osiguranje and again Croatia osiguranje). During that time he gained experience in all phases of professional practical training, from counter salesman, liquidation of damages, service manager, to CEO of Croatia osiguranje in his mandate from 2000 to 2004. He is the founder and president of 18 years of the Croatian Insurance Bureau. Besides constant practical work in insurance he deals with theoretical issues of insurance law. He began to publish his works in 1977 in various professional journals in Croatia and abroad. He has written a dozen books in the field of insurance law (about international motor vehicle insurance card, compulsory insurance, life insurance, personal insurance, brokerage and insurance agency, etc.) and more than 200 scientific articles. He has been editor of Insurance (Osiguranje) magazine for many years. He actively participates in national and international professional meetings and conferences. As an associate professor, he is a lecturer at the Faculty of Law in Zagreb.
 


Đorđe Vojnović,
Chief Executive Director, Triglav Osiguruvanje Skopje


CV: Đorđe Vojnović was born in Skopje on April 8, 1971. From the earliest times he shows interest in sports, especially basketball. As a professional basketball player, he joined the Macedonian national team in 1991. At the same time, Vojnović graduated from the Faculty of Physical Education at the University of St. Cyril and Methodius in Skopje, and in 2007 acquired his MBA at the City College Sheffield University in Thessaloniki, with a dissertation in marketing. During his career, he has gained broad knowledge in the field of management, assessment and analysis of business risks, marketing, sales and public relations. In addition to being a professional basketball player, Vojnović has held very important positions - he was Director of the Basketball Association of Macedonia, General Manager of MI-DA Motors Skopje and Board Member of Hypo Alpe-Adria-Leasing Skopje. In December 2012 he was appointed Director of Triglav Osiguruvanje AD Skopje and in July 2014 he transferred to Winner Life VIG Skopje as Chairman of the Board of Directors. In September 2015, Vojnović returns to the position of Chief Executive Officer at Triglav Osiguruvanje AD, Skopje. Through his engagement Vojnović supports companies in their aspirations for socially responsible business. Vojnović is a member of several organizations and institutes and is often a part of charitable and humanitarian actions.

 


Ivana Banović,
National Bureau of Montenegro Insurers


CV: She was born on November 30, 1985 year in the city of Bar. She graduated from the Faculty of Economics at the University of Montenegro in 2008, where she currently attends postgraduate studies with a major in actuarial science. From 2009 to 2016 she worked in the insurance company "Swiss Insurance" AD Podgorica, as Insurance Analyst and Director of Insurance Sector. Since 2016 she has been employed in the National Bureau of Montenegro Insurers. She attended training to gain the title of an authorized actuary organized by the Montenegrin Insurance Supervisory Agency during the period 2015-2018.
 


Zoran Milošević,
Zavarovalnica Triglav


CV: Zoran has been working for Triglav insurance company since 2002. He has worked in P&C actuarial department, Motor insurance department, Sales and Distribution department and is currently Chief Innovation & Digital Officer. As actuary, Zoran learned the basics of P&C insurance, which helped him improving processes, underwriting, establishing car insurance online and developing new product lines as Director of motor insurance department. At that time he was also President of the Motor Insurance Comitee at Slovenian Insurance Association.
As Executive Director for Sales and Distribution, Zoran has led strategic marketing activities, CRM, BI and Innovations. He was sponsor of Triglav telematics project and responsible for successfully launched telematics product called »DRAJV«.
As a Chief Innovation and Digital Officer at Zavarovalnica Triglav, d.d. he is now deeply involved in digital strategy development, supporting new start-up initiatives and M&A deals. With strong knowledge and experience in insurtech he is committed to deliver an optimal customer omnichannel experience, ensuring that people who need the reassurance of human contact speak to specialist agents while those with simple queries can benefit from self-care tools and automation.


Damir Zorić,
Euroherc osiguranje, Zagreb


CV: Born in 1960, Damir Zorić graduated and received his PhD at the Faculty of Philosophy in Zagreb, where he worked until 1991. After that he held various high positions in public administration and the parlament. He has been working in insurance since 2002. As of 2005 he is a Member of the Board at Sunce osiguranje Zagreb, and as of 2009 he had  two mandates as Head of the Board and then Procurator of Euroherc Insurance Plc.

Fikret Plevljak,
Company Management, Sarajevo osiguranje

CV: Fikret Plevljak (1956) graduated mechanical engineering and has a Master’s degree in technical sciences. In his master’s thesis on the development of risk assessment methods in industrial production systems, he combined the theory and practice of engineering and insurance. He gained working experience in coal mines with underground exploitation and in the insurance industry. He went through all the positions in these to sectors – from engineer to the member of the Board and from estimator of damage, from insurance sales and branch managment to the development of new insurance products and insurance education at the level of company management. He was also led by the Bureau of Green Cards in Bosnia and Herzegovina. He is currently in the field of controlling, education and developing new products.

Daniel Stanko,
Senior Underwriter – Treaty, Trust Re Cyprus Branch

CV: Recognised as a business expert, Daniel leads the Underwriting team responsible for Treaty risks emanating from Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), South Eastern Europe (SEE), Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) countries. A Slovenian national, Daniel has 16 years experience in the field of insurance and reinsurance. He began his career with Sava Insurance Company (ex. Maribor) in 2002 before moving to Triglav Re in 2009 where he held the position of Client Manager & Senior Underwriter (International Inward Department) for the 4 years immediately prior to his appointment with Trust Re in 2018. Daniel has worked across several markets including Germany, CEE, SEE, Russia, CIS, Greece, Turkey, MENA, Asia-Pacific and America. In addition to being mother tongue Slovenian, Daniel is a talented linguist proficient in English, Croatian and Serbian as well as having knowledge of French and German.

 


Jelena Kočović,
Full-time Professor, Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Belgrade

CV: Jelena Kočović PhD is a full-time professor at the Faculty of Economics and Business at the University of Belgrade, teaching classes on Financial and Actuarial Mathematics, Insurance and Insurance Rates. She is Head of the Department for Statistics and Mathematics and Head of the Actuarial Science Module on Master's Studies at the abovementioned faculty. She has published over 250 scientific papers in the area of insurance, actuarial science and investments. She is member of the Philosophical Society MGU Lomonosov and the Scientific Society of Economists of Serbia. She was Director of the Research Centre at the Faculty of Economics and Business. She is an authorized actuary and court expert for finance and actuarial science and UN’s expert for catastrophic risk management. She was president of the Serbian Actuarial Association. She is member of several committees of the International Actuarial Association (IAA). She has organized a number of international symposia and conducted many scientific research and commercial projects as well as innovative courses in financial mathematics, insurance and actuarial science.

 


Dragica Janković,
PhD and MSc in Economics; Faculty of Economics

CV: Dragica Janković has worked in insurance during all of her working life of 33 years. She is a member of the Executive Board of Dunav Osiguranje since 2016, responsible for: actuarial science, risk and damage management, product development, portfolio management, preventive engineering, coinsurance and reinsurance. By 2016 she was Director of the Department for Actuarial Science and Risk Management, appointed actuary of the Company, Branch Director, Deputy Director of Head Branch Office and its Financial Director. She is member of the Managment Board of Dunav osiguranje Banja Luka (she was Chairman of the Audit Committee of Dunav osiguranje Banja Luka, member of Management Board ZC Milenko Marin Loznica and ATP Autoprevoz Loznica). From 2011 to 2015, she was a teacher at a business school in Novi Sad. She was a mentor for five specialist and several Master thesis’. She has written a large number of scientific and professional papers and a monograph called „Insurance“. She has participated in numerous domestic and international consultations and courses. She holds a license of authorized accountant and actuary. She is a member of the Serbian Actuarial Association (UAS) and the International Actuarial Association (IAA). She is Chief Editor of „Tokovi osiguranja“ magazine (M53).

 


Dragica Korenjak,
Independent Consultant and Sales Network Motivator

CV: Dragica Korenjak graduated from Alma Mater Europae in Maribor as a Business Process Manager. She has been working as an independent consultant and sales network motivator. Over 20,000 people have attended her sales and marketing workshops. She is a specialist in business system management and has 30 years of experience in sales and management. For many years she has been a lecturer at the Faculty for Business Studies at Gea College. Thanks to her outstanding results, she received the award for the most successful female entrepreneur in Slovenia. She has published two books: "Secrets of Success in Network Marketing" and "Science and Communication in Network Marketing" in English, with co-author Prof. Mario Plenković PhD and Marko Korenjak, NLP and Business Coach. She was Chairman of the Economic Interest Agency of Insurance Agencies in Slovenia, Head of the Slovenian Insurance Institute, Alumni Club President and Senator of Alma Mater Europea ECM. One of the most prominent sales trainees in insurance companies of SEE Dragica Korenjak, also called the insurance sales ambassador, points out that working in sales is honorable, difficult and highly responsible. Her motto is: "Never give up! Somewhere there is someone who can help. Find him."

CV: Born 2 August 1989 in Zenica. Zlatan graduated from the Faculty of Economics with a major in Enterprise Management at the University of Zenica. He is currently attending a Master's degree program at the same university. Prior to joining ASA osiguranje, he worked at Natron-Hayat Company as a Specialist for Employee Training and Development. In his previous career he has been involved in strategic planning and performance management. He has attended a range of courses in HRM, Leadership and Marketing. Fluent in English.


Christian Kreutzer,
Head of Market Underwriting for Austria & CEE, Swiss Re

CV: Christian Kreutzer is an economist with strong analytical skills and profound reinsurance knowledge. He has longstanding experience in client management and underwriting in reinsurance. During his career he has worked on various projects with market and product innovations in different regions where he gained strong experience in team leadership. He has a proven track record in strategy implementation with market success, strong financial acumen and excellent language skills in English, as well as solid knowledge in French, Russian and Swedish. He is Head of Market Underwriting for Austria & CEE at Swiss Re since August 2017.


Mira Kiridžić-Bügler,
Client Manager and Market Underwriter for Central and Eastern Europe and Austria, Swiss Re

CV: Mira Kiridžić-Bügler is from 2011 employed at Swiss Re as Client Manager and Market Underwriter for Central and Eastern Europe and Austria. From 2009 to 2011 she worked as Casualty Center Senior Manager for Central and Eastern Europe, Austria, Germany, Nordics and Baltics at the same company. From 2002 to 2008 she also worked at Swiss Re as Senior Underwriter (Property & Casualty) for Central and Eastern Europe. She is an authorized actuary and has a degree in mathematics from LMU Munich.

Suzana Šakotić,
senior associate for finance and actuarial activities, Insurance Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sarajevo

CV: Suzana Šakotić graduated from the Faculty of Economics of the University of Mostar in 1998. She began her professional experience in humanitarian organizations and non-governmental sector. She worked for the Red Cross Federation and the department of finance as a finance associate. Then she worked in the Red Cross of BiH as a coordinator of various programs. Since March 2011, she has been employed by the Insurance Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina as a senior associate for finance and actuarial activities.


Nebojša Šćekić,
President of the Council, National Bureau of Montenegro Insurers, Podgorica

CV: Nebojša Šćekić was born in 1971. He graduated in the field of Finance from the Faculty of Economy in Podgorica. He started working in the financial sector in 1999 for Microcredit Montenegro, first as a credit advisor, and later as CEO of the biggest branch in Podgorica. In 2002, he started working for Opportunity Bank in Podgorica, where he was CEO of Risk Management Department, and as of 2005 CEO of Opportunity leasing. His career in insurance sector begun in 2008, when he became a CEO in Sava osiguranje in Podgorica. He also serves as the President of the Council of the National Bureau of Montenegro Insurers.
 


Damir Zorić,

CV: Born in 1960, Damir Zorić graduated and received his PhD at the Faculty of Philosophy in Zagreb, where he worked until 1991. After that he held various high positions in public administration. He has been working in insurance since 2002. As of 2005 he is a Member of the Board at Sunce insurance Zagreb, and as of 2009 President of the Board of Euroherc osiguranje. He is a Member of the Board of Directors of SorS and a Head of the Board of Directors of the Croatian Insurance Bureau.


Trajče Latinovski,
President, Association of Insurers of the Republic of Macedonia, Skopje

CV: He graduated from the Faculty of Economics in Skopje in 1982. At the same Faculty, he defended his Master Thesis "Insurance Risk Management". His 30 years work experience has been in the field of insurance. Mr. Trajce Latinovski began his career in 1982 in the Sales department of the insurance and reinsurance company Makedonija, where later he was appointed as a Deputy General Manager of the main branch office. He continued his career in the Insurance company Vardar (today Triglav), where he had the position of a General Manager. He was nominated as a Director of the National Insurance Bureau of Republic of Macedonia in December 2013.
At the same time, he is a visiting professor at the Faculty of Tourism and Insurance in Ohrid. Beside that, he was a president of the Association of Insurers at the Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Macedonia. He took part, with his presentations, at a great number of home and international conferences and tribunes, dedicated to the field of Insurance.

CV: Duško Jovanović is a Secretary General of the Association of Serbian Insurers. He graduated from the Faculty of Economics, major Economic Policy and Planning, in 1980. His career path started in 1983 at the National Bank of Serbia − the Institute for Manufacturing Banknotes and Coins (NBS ZIN) where he first worked as an investment officer. In 1989, he was appointed Financial Manager of NBS ZIN. In 1995 he was appointed Deputy General Manager of NBS ZIN (managing position with special authorizations and responsibility) by the then Governor, Dragoslav Avramović. In 2000, he was appointed CEO of NBS ZIN. In 2003, he became General Manager of Polis JSC Insurance Organization, Belgrade. In 2008, Mr. Jovanovic assumed the position of the President of the Board of Directors in Sava osiguranje a.d. Belgrade. Since 2012, he has been General Manager of Sava osiguranje a.d. Belgrade. He is Secretary General of Association of Serbian Insurers since October 2015.
 


Dario Schiller,
Business Manager, C Consulting

CV: Mr. Schiller has 39 years of experience in the insurance business. Currently he is a Business Manager at C Consulting, as well as Claims Manager at Europa Re. Prior to that, he worked as Chief Underwriting Officer of DDOR in Novi Sad and was also responsible for Product Development in the company. He was the Vice President of the DDOR-Garant Pension Fund Management Company. Mr. Schiller started his long-term career in the insurance business in RAS (nowadays Allianz) in the life international actuarial department. Within the Allianz Group he worked in Greece, Italy and Mexico, where he was responsible for technical aspects in underwriting, product development, claims management, both for life and non-life insurance. He speaks Italian, English, Spanish and Greek.
 


Siniša Lovrinčević,

CV: Siniša Lovrinčević was born in Osijek, is a Slovenian citizen and lives in Limassol, Cyprus. His academic qualification includes Master of Science awarded by the University in Ljubljana, Slovenia, in 2002. Siniša has 19 years of reinsurance experience on international scale. He started working in reinsurance in Slovenia in 1997, attended various (re)insurance seminars, job trainings, conferences, and was involved in all processes - underwriting, planning and realisation, marketing, risk management, leadership, accounting, portfolio management. Siniša has been working in Trust Re since 2010. He started in the capacity of Head of Business Development, followed by Senior Treaty Underwriter and Regional Director (CEE, CIS). Currently, he is General Manager of Trust Re Cyprus Branch in Limassol. The Branch is responsible for business emanating from CEE, Russia and other CIS countries, Greece, Malta and takes an active role in business development, treaty underwriting and marketing for all Trust Re business classes for these areas.
 


Sergej Simoniti,
Director, Insurance Supervisory Agency, Ljubljana

CV: Sergej Simoniti graduated in law at Faculty of Law of University in Ljubljana. His first employment has been as a general legal counsel at Gerenarali d.d. insurance company in Slovenia. In the same employment he was later responsible for casualty underwriting. In 2000 he started an independent consultancy in the fi eld of insurance. In 2002 he joined Sava re company. He has been active on the legal issues concerning reinsurance arrangements and later for legal support in the expansion of Sava Re group in the Balkans. Furthermore he played an active role in Sava Re’s initial public offering. He ended his employment with Sava Re as group compliance officer. In 2011 he has been nominated by Slovenian parliament as the director of Insurance Supervisory Agency. He is also a member of the Financial Stability Committee and Market Conduct subcommittee at IAIS. He has also authored various books, articles and other publications in the fi eld of insurance both in Slovenia and abroad.
 


Gordana Letica,
Member of the Board, Croatian Financial Services Supervisory Agency, Zagreb

CV: Gordana Letica graduated from the Faculty of Science, University of Zagreb, and started her professional career as a teacher of mathematics. In 1993, she started working in the insurance industry, undergoing professional development and completing her postgraduate studies in Bratislava and Zagreb, organised in cooperation with the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries from London. Until 2010, Ms Letica carried out actuarial and reinsurance activities for several insurance companies, and from 2011 she was also involved in the risk management process as Executive Director with Sunce osiguranje. She occupied the position of Chairman of the Croatian Actuarial Association from 2005 to January 2012, when Ms Letica was appointed Member of the Board of Croatian Financial Services Supervisory Agency (Hanfa).

CV: Jelena Lončar graduated from Faculty of Economics in Belgrade in 2004. Marijan Ćurković,
professor, Faculty of Law, Zagreb

CV: Marijan Ćurković graduated from the Faculty of Law in 1966. He obtained his Master’s degree in 1979 and PhD in 1984. He has been working in the insurance industry since 1967 (Osiguravajući zavod Beograd, Croatia osiguranje, Euroherc osiguranje and again Croatia osiguranje). During that time he gained experience in all phases of professional practical training, from counter salesman, liquidation of damages, service manager, to CEO of Croatia osiguranje in his mandate from 2000 to 2004. He is the founder and president of 18 years of the Croatian Insurance Bureau, which he led to all integrations of the international green card system of motor insurance.
Besides constant practical work in insurance he deals with theoretical issues of insurance law. He began to publish his works in 1977 in various professional journals in Croatia and abroad. He has written a dozen of books in the field of insurance law (about international motor vehicle insurance card, compulsory insurance, life insurance, personal insurance, brokerage and insurance agency, etc.) and more than 200 scientific articles. He has been editor of Insurance (Osiguranje) magazine for many years. He actively participates in national and international professional meetings and conferences. As an associate professor, he is a lecturer at the Faculty of Law in Zagreb.


Zlatan Filipović,

CV: Zlatan Filipović graduated from the Faculty of Law at Sarajevo University. He has worked in reinsurance business most of his 26-year-long career. He has been with Bosna RE from 1987 where he started at the position of Reinsurance Assistant, then Reinsurance Director and Reinsurance Executive Director and finally in October 2014 he was appointed Bosna RE CEO. CV: Suzana Šakotić graduated from the Faculty of Economics of the University of Mostar in 1998. She began her professional experience in humanitarian organizations and non-governmental sector. CV: He Graduated from the Faculty of Economics in Podgorica in 1995. CV: He graduated from the Faculty of Low in Rijeka, where he earned his Master degree in Law at the postgraduate studies "Law of International Trade, Transport and Insurance". His first work was an attorney assistant, after which he moved to Croatia osiguranje (2001 - 2007) where he later became Director of Legal, Personnel and General Affairs. From there, he was elected for the director of the Croatian Insurance Bureau, where he works today. He passed the judicial exam, gained the qualification of an authorized intermediary in trade securities - broker, and also completed the training in the field of insurance at the School of Insurance, St. John's University in New York. He is a lecturer of civil rights at University of Applied Health Studies in Zagreb and associate at the Faculty of Law in Rijeka. He is a member of the Executive Committee of the European Federation of Insurers and Reinsurers (CEA). He is a member of the Working Group for implementation and monitoring of the national road safety program and the Working Group at the Ministry of Finance for the new Insurance law, etc.

His 30 years work experience has been in the field of insurance. Mr. Trajce Latinovski began his career in 1982 in the Sales department of the insurance and reinsurance company Makedonija, where later he was appointed as a Deputy General Manager of the main branch office. He continued his career in the Insurance company Vardar (today Triglav), where he had the position of a General Manager. She received a Master’s degree in nuclear risk insurance in 1983 and doctorate in liability insurance for damages from defective products in 1995, both from Faculty of Law in Belgrade. Since 2005, she has been a professor of "Insurance law" and "Basics of insurance" courses at Singidunum University in Belgrade. From 2003 to 2005, she was an assistant professor of "Insurance" course at the Faculty of banking and commerce. He has been employed as an economic analyst in a software company based in London, where he worked for nine years as an analyst of the financial service industry, especially risk management, insurance and reinsurance industry. He defended his PhD thesis in 2009 and became an assistant professor at the Faculty of Law and Business Studies in Novi Sad in 2010.  He was awarded by the National Bank of Serbia for scientific research in 2011. CV: After graduating from the High Economic Commercial School in Maribor Drago Cotar dedicated his career almost entirely to the insurance industry. Since 1976 Mr Cotar has been employed at Zavarovalnica Maribor, initially as a senior independent clerk for the processing of claims in the sector of transport and credit insurance, and then as head of the section for the valuation and liquidation of transport and credit insurance, and as Assistant Director of the insurance department. In 1990 he became Director and in 1995 CEO of the company. At the end of 2013, Mr Cotar assumed the role of Director of the Slovenian Insurance Association until the end of May this year. In his long and successful career, he performed and still performs many other important functions: the president of the Slovenian Insurance Association, a board member of Network for Social Responsibility of Slovenia, member of the Supervisory Board of the Nuclear Pool, a member of the Expert Council of the project fast-growing companies Gazelle, President of the Football Club Maribor, Chairman of the organizing committee of the Golden Fox, etc. For his work he has received numerous awards.

Since March 2011, she has been employed by the Insurance Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina as a senior associate for finance and actuarial activities.

B. SC. Aida Imamović
Aida Imamović graduated from the Faculty of Economics of the University of Sarajevo in 1999. She is a qualified accountant. Her first experience devised in BH osiguranje d.d. Sarajevo, where she was employed from November 1999 to April 2011. As a Head of the bookkeeping tasks in the Triglav osiguranje d.d., branch Sarajevo, she worked in the period from 2001 to November 2007. From November 2007 to April 2011 she worked as the Chief of Finances in the Triglav osiguranje d.d. Sarajevo. She was a member of the Supervisory Board Poljooprema d.d. Sarajevo and a member of the Audit Committee of the Sarajevostan d.d. Since April 2011 she has been employed by the Insurance Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as the Head of the Department of international cooperation, finance, statistics and actuarial activities.
M. Sc. Boris Šaban
He Graduated from the Faculty of Economics in Podgorica in 1995. He obtained his Master degree at the University of North London, London, UK, in April 2002 and became Master of Business Administration (MBA). He attended numerous trainings for insurance and re-insurance of which the most important are the following: International Aviation Course organized by Insurance Broker Company Willis Aerospace, London, UK (2004) and Seminar in Insurance for South East Europe, St John’s University New York, NY, USA organized by United States Department of Commerce (2002). In the period from 1998 - 2001 he worked for Insurance broker Company Kininmonth Lambert - Lambert Fenchurch (later became Heath Lambert). In the period from February 1996 to April 2007 he worked for Lovcen insurance Company Ltd in Podgorica and also for Lovcen RE Ltd Podgorica working at reinsurance of Transport and Aviation. Since April 2007 he is employed at the National Bureau of Montenegrin Insurers at the post of the Executive Director. He lives and works in Podgorica. He is married and has two children.
Mario Pavlak
Mario Pavlak is Head of Information Centre in Croatian Insurance Bureau from 2007. Besides the primary duties in the development of integrated information system of the Croatian Insurance Bureau and the development of e-communication with the insurance companies, he has intensively worked on implementation of a central statistical inssurance system in the Republic of Croatia and on preparations for the liberalization of compulsory automobile liability insurance.
M. Sc. Trajce Latinovski
He graduated from the Faculty of Economics in Skopje in 1982. At the same Faculty, he defended his Master Thesis "Insurance Risk Management". His 30 years work experience has been in the field of insurance. Mr. Trajce Latinovski began his career in 1982 in the Sales department of the insurance and reinsurance company Makedonija, where later he was appointed as a Deputy General Manager of the main branch office. He continued his career in the Insurance company Vardar (today Triglav), where he had the position of a General Manager. He was nominated as a Director of the National Insurance Bureau of Republic of Macedonia in December 2013.
At the same time, he is a visiting professor at the Faculty of Tourism and Insurance in Ohrid. Beside that, he was a president of the Association of Insurers at the Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Macedonia. He took part, with his presentations, at a great number of home and international conferences and tribunes, dedicated to the field of Insurance.
M.Sc. Zvonko Ivanušič
Zvonko Ivanušič was appointed Chairman of the Management Board in 2008. He became Deputy Chairman of the Management Board in 2004, just two years after joining Sava Reinsurance Company as Consultant to the Management Board.
Before joining Sava Re, Zvonko was Minister of Finance of the Republic of Slovenia since 2000. Before that held various top management positions, among others between 1997 and 2000, he was Chairman of the Management Board of Zavarovalnica Slovenica; from 1994 to 1997 Chairman of the Management Board of Kmečka družba and from 1993 to 1994, Managing Director of Belt-Livar Črnomelj.  As from 2007, Zvonko Ivanušič has been Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Zavarovalnica Tilia, after having served some time on its Board as a member. Zvonko Ivanušič graduated in Economics from the University of Maribor and earned a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Ljubljana.
 
M. Sc. Milo Marković
He was born in Belgrade, Republic of Serbia. He graduated from the Faculty of Economics in Belgrade 2008., major finance, banking and insurance. He acquired his master's Degree in Actuarial Science module at the same Academy in 2012. During the educational period has received numerous awards, scholarships and recognition of the Republic, the city of Belgrade and several prominent companies for the results achieved. His professional career began in 2008. when he started to work as an actuary in Dunav Insurance Company jsc, and starting from 2013. he has been engaged in the Association of Serbian Insurers, first as a chief actuary and afterwards as a director of Green Card Bureau. He holds the prestigious license of certified actuary issued by the National Bank of Serbia. He has participated in numerous seminars covering the area of insurance, organized in the country and abroad. The area of his interest is insurance and actuarial science.
 
Mr. Sc. Uroš Ivanc
He graduated from the Faculty of Economics in Ljubljana. In 2000 he completed the MBA program, which includes M.A. degree in management and organization. In the same year he finished third exam and became a CFA charterholder. In 2007 he obtained a portfolio manager license from the Securities Commission of the Republic of Serbia. Before joining Triglav, he worked as a junior financial consultant in cardboard packaging company GEP Kartonaža in Murska Sobota. In Triglav he first worked as equity research analyst and later as a portfolio manager for Triglav's Slovenian pension fund. Early in 2004 he took over the management of the corporate finance department, where he worked on several Triglav's acquisitions. Since December 2005 he is the Executive Director of Finance in Zavarovalnica Triglav. Through his time with Triglav he has assumed several supervisory and board of directors memberships in Triglav Group companies. He is a supervisory board member of NLB, Ltd. and a president of the Slovenian emerging CFA Society.
 
Hrvoje Odak
Hrvoje Odak graduated in journalism from the Croatian Studies, University of Zagreb, and enrolled in graduate studies "Managing marketing communications" at the Zagreb Faculty of Economics. He received the degree in Agile Management 3.0 in 2013. He was employed as a freelance journalist in Slobodna Dalmacija, from June 1999 since 2000. He has worked as an editor on the portal Index.hr and also operated several smaller Internet portals. He started his career at Croatia osiguranje in 2004 in the Department of Corporate Communications. From 2008 to 2010 he leads the Department for external communication after which he came to the position of Director of the Corporate Communications. Since 2013 he works as a Head of Department of Marketing and Corporate Communications. He is an active member of the CPRA and a frequent guest speaker at various marketing and communication conferences in the region.
Prof. Dr. Sc.  Marijan Ćurković
Marijan Ćurković has graduated from the Faculty of Law in 1966. He obtained his Master degree in 1979 and PhD in 1984. He has been working in the insurance industry since 1967 (Osiguravajući zavod Beograd, Croatia osiguranje, Euroherc osiguranje and again Croatia osiguranje). During that time he gained experience in all phases of professional practical training, from counter salesman, liquidation of damages, manager of services, to CEO of Croatia osiguranje in his mandate from 2000 –to 2004. He is the founder and was for 18 years the president of the Croatian Insurance Bureau, which he has led to all integration of the international green card system of motor insurance.
With constant practice work in insurance he deals with the theoretical issues of insurance law. He began to publish works in 1977 in various professional journals in Croatia and abroad. He has written a dozen of books in the field of insurance law (about international motor vehicle insurance card, compulsory insurance, life insurance, personal insurance, brokerage and insurance agency) and more than 200 scientific articles. He has been editor of Insurance (Osiguranje) magazine for many years. He actively participates in national and international professional meetings and conferences. As an associate professor, he is a lecturer at the Faculty of Law in Zagreb.

Suzana Šakotić, BS in Economics

Graduated from the Faculty of Economics of the University of Mostar in 1998. She began her professional experience in humanitarian organizations and non-governmental sector. She worked for the Red Cross Federation and the department of finance as a finance associate. Then she worked in the Red Cross of BiH as a coordinator of various programs. Since March 2011 she has been employed by the Insurance Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as a senior associate for finance and actuarial activities.

Boris Šaban, MS

Boris Saban was born on July 21, 1970 in Podgorica (former Titograd), Montenegro. He graduated from the Faculty of Economics in Podgorica in December 1995 and obtained his Master’s degree at the University of North London, London UK in April 2002 and became Master of Business Administration (MBA). B.Šaban attended numerous trainings for insurance and re-insurance of which the most important are the following: June 2004 International Aviation Course, London, organized by Insurance Broker Company Willis Aerospace, London UK June 2002, Seminar in Insurance for South East Europe, St John’s University New York, NY, USA organized by United States Department of Commerce. Since April 2007 he has been employed at the National Bureau of Montenegrin Insurers as an Executive Director. In the period from February 1996 to April 2007 he had worked for Lovcen insurance Company Ltd in Podgorica and also for Lovcen-RE Ltd Podgorica dealing with re-insurance of Transport and Aviation. In the period from 1998 -2001 Boris had lived in London where he worked for and attended trainings by Insurance broker Company Kininmonth Lambert- Lambert Fenchurch, which later became Heath Lambert upon emerging of two companies.

 
Hrvoje Pauković, MS
 
He graduated from the Faculty of Law in Rijeka, where he earned his Master’s degree in Law at the postgraduate studies “Law of International Trade, Transport and Insurance”. His first work was an attorney assistant, after which he moved to Croatia osiguranje (2001 - 2007) where he later became Director of Legal, Personnel and General Affairs. From there, he was elected for the director of the Croatian Insurance Bureau, where he works today. He passed the judicial exam, gained the qualification of an authorized intermediary in trade securities - broker, and also completed the training in the field of insurance at the School of Insurance, St. John’s University in New York. He is a lecturer of civil rights at University of Applied Health Studies in Zagreb and associate at the Faculty of Law in Rijeka. He is a member of the Executive Committee of the European Federation of Insurers and Reinsurers (CEA). He is a member of the Working Group for implementation and monitoring of the national road safety program and the Working Group at the Ministry of Finance for the new Insurance law, etc.
 

Klime Poposki, PhD

Mr. Klime Poposki joined the Insurance Supervision Agency (ASO) in 2009 as the President of the Council of Experts of the Insurance Supervisions Agency and currently manages and represents the Agency in relations with third persons. He has completed his education at the Faculty of Economics, University “Ss. Cyril and Methodius”, Skopje, obtaining the Ph.D. in 2006. Mr. Poposki started his career in 1995 in a commercial bank. Since 1999 he joined the University of “St. Clement of Ohrid” Bitola, in the Insurance Studies Department. In 2012 he was elected associate professor. During his affluent professional career he has attended numerous seminars, trainings, and conferences in the country and abroad, and has also participated in numerous projects as consultant, trainer, and expert in the area of financial management, risk management and insurance. Of his numerous study visits the following may be noted: Post-doctoral research in 2008 at the School of Business and Economics, Humbolt University Berlin, Germany; A study visit with USAID scholarship at Georgetown University, Washington, USA in the period 2004-2005; and financial accounting, management accounting, and financial reporting training in June 2000 at Nottingham Trent University – Business School, Nottingham, UK. In the field of scientific research work he has given his contribution through 30 published research papers, and subject of his personal interest are areas such as: risk management, insurance and economic development, and financial markets and institutions.

Mateja Lamovšek, BS in Economics

She graduated on Faculty of Economics in Ljubljana. Since then she’s been working in Slovenian Insurance Association on the field of property and transport insurance as well as on the field of finance, accounting, tax, risk management. At the moment she’s also involved in statistics and analysis.

Vladan Manić, BS in Economics

Vladan Manić is the Secretary General of the Association of Serbian Insurers (ASI) as of April, 2011. He is a Deputy Chairman of the Expert Working Group of the Serbian government for the improvement of traffic insurance system, member of the Working Group of the Serbian government for implementation of the Catastrophe Risk Insurance Facility project, as well as a member of the Expert negotiating team for dialogue with temporary institutions of self-government in Pristina within the Implementation Group in the area of “freedom of movement”. Before assuming the post of Secretary General of the ASI, Mr. Manic was the advisor to the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Serbia and the coordinator of the Financial System Department. He is the author of numerous laws in the financial system. The Government has appointed Mr. Manic as a Head of the Serbian delegation for negotiations with the World Bank on guarantees for borrowing, as well as a member of the Serbian delegation for negotiations on the Catastrophe Risk Insurance Facility project. The Minister of Finance has appointed Mr. Manic as a member of the Commission for Coordination of negotiations on joining the World Trade Organization, and a member of the Supervisory Board for the project management of banks lending to small-and medium-sized enterprises from the credit line of the Italian Government. Following the decision of the Government of the Republic of Serbia he was appointed as Vice Chairman of Financial Services Subgroup of the Expert Working Group of the Coordinating Body for the EU accession process. During his work in the state institutions, he held the position of senior adviser in the National Bank of Serbia and the Head of a Department within the Ministry of Finance and Economy of the Republic of Serbia. He has a wealth of experience in the banking sector. He was a member of the Executive Board of Marfin Bank, Executive Director at Vojvođanska and Societe Generale Bank, and also a member of the Managing Board of JUBMES Bank. He graduated from the Faculty of Economics at the Department of Business Finance and Accounting, he is the holder of a chartered accountant and auditor ranks, has passed the professional exam for government officials. On several occasions he took part in training schemes abroad on the topics of financial system supervision, deposit insurance, financial crisis management, micro-credit institutions and the implementation of EU Directives in the financial field.

Stanislav Vrtunski, MBA

In May 2012 he became Member of the Management Board of Zavarovalnica Triglav – the largest insurance company in Slovenia, where he had previously worked as an Executive Head of Non-Life Insurance Claims Division. After having graduated in mechanical engineering, he went to Paris in 1996 where he completed his MBA Copernic programme of Paris grandes écoles the following year. In 1997, he started his career as an auditor with Mazars in France. In 2001 he finished his post-graduate study of actuarial science at the Centre d´études actuarielles. Before coming to Slovenia, he held the position of the Chief Executive Officer of the French insurance company La Parisienne Assurances for six years. He was born in Novi Sad 40 years ago. Presently he is a member of two professional organisations: Slovenian Association of Actuaries – Member and the French Association of Young Insurance Professionals.

Damir Zorić, PhD

Born in 1960, Damir Zorić graduated and received his PhD at the Faculty of Philosophy in Zagreb, where he worked until 1991. After that he held various high positions in public administration. He has been working in insurance since 2002. As of 2005 he is a Member of the Board at Sunce insurance Zagreb, and as of 2009 – Head of the Board. D.Zorić is a Member of the Board of Directors of SorS and Head of the Board of Directors of the Croatian Insurance Bureau.

Pavel Gojkovič, BS in Mathematics

Pavel Gojkovič graduated from the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Engineering, University of Ljubljana. He started his professional career in insurance in Zavarovalnica Triglav, where he worked from 1992 till 2006. During that period he actively participated in product development as well as managed the sector of development and actuary of personal insurance from 1998 till 2005, when he took over the position of Executive Director for personal insurance. P.Gojkovič worked in NLB Vita life insurance as a Member of the Board from 2006 till 2011, upon which he worked in the Slovenian branch office of Allianz Hungaria insurance as a Director for life insurance. He has been with Pozavarovalnica Sava since April 2011, where he has been in charge of life insurance within the sector for strategic investment.

Tomaž Mancini
In 1976, he obtained a diploma at the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Ljubljana (geography-sociology). He worked 17 years in the State Administration as independent advisor at the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia and during the last 17 years ha has worked as the statistician at the Slovenian Insurance Association.
